Here is a sneak peek of our nursery…..now it is not completely finished, but it is almost there and I am so excited about how it is turning out that I just want to share it with everyone!
The beautiful glider one of our friends let us borrow! It has been passed around our church small group, is well loved, and one of the most comfortable pieces of furniture in my house. I cannot wait to rock my boys in this glider!
I LOVE the bedding and the quote over the boy’s beds. It says “I will love you forever I will like you for always, as long as I’m living my babies you’ll be”. That is so true! My boys are not even here yet and I am already sad about them growing up, I just want them to be Mommy’s babies forever!
This hutch has lived in our garage for several years now and at one time belonged to my parents. Originally it was painted cream with a tobacco wash, but we decided to paint it to match the dresser and change out the door knobs which I happen to love! The hutch has now been deemed the diaper hutch because this is where we will keep all of our diapers.
This dresser has been living in my garage for the past 6 years and was my dresser growing up! We decided to re-paint it and upgrade the hardware. We matched the knobs to the ones on the hutch, but we still need to purchase the pull handles for the drawers. The third drawer is still in the garage because it is having track issues and Jeremy needs to put the track back on. I told you a sneak peek…..we aren’t done yet!
Another picture of the amazing glider. I can see many nights in our future of Jeremy falling asleep in this chair! It even reclines! It just doesn’t get much better than that!
These paintings I made for the boys and I love them! I did one with each one of their names on it and one from 1st Samuel 1:27 that says “I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him”.
I hope you all enjoyed the sneak peek at the nursery! I will post pictures again once everything is finished and decorated. I am getting excited! We are getting closer to the babies’ arrival and we may actually be ready when they get here!
