It is that time of year when we stop and take a minute to reflect on the many things we are grateful for. As I look over this past year and my life as a whole I cannot believe all the blessings God has bestowed on me.
I am thankful for a God who not only saved me but also knows the desires of my heart and loves me so much that He decided to give me my greatest desire and blessed me with two amazing, precious and completely perfect little boys.
I am thankful for my Hubby. He is my best friend and the love of my life. I could not imagine life without him. I have been immensely blessed with an amazing man of God.
He strives to always lead our family towards Christ, he is patient with me and loves me unconditionally. He pushes me when I need pushed and he hugs me when I am down.
He has seen me at my best and my worst and loves me continually in any situation. He has been an incredible Father to our two sons and I know he will be an amazing example to them.
Having twins automatically makes you a team, it truly takes two (or more) to care for twinfants and Jeremy has jumped in with both feet. I couldn’t have asked for a better team mate.
I am thankful for Ian. He has truly rocked our world. He can be a little feisty, but he already makes us laugh every day! There have been many times that I catch him holding Noah’s hand or rubbing the top of his head when he is upset. He seems to be the protector of his brother.
He spends much of his time smiling, laughing and sucking on his fingers so loud you can hear him smacking in the other room. He is so afraid he is going to miss something and wants to be a part of everything you do. He brings more joy to our lives than we could ever express.
My life would not be complete without our Ian. He feels our home with so much laughter!
I am thankful for Noah and all the smiles he brings to our day every day. He smiles more than any baby I have ever met and has the biggest smile that just melts you heart every time he shares it with you.
Noah is our snuggle bear and loves to offer you the biggest hugs and snuggles you could imagine. Noah has the best laugh and laughs at everything. He has his favorite dog and when he snuggles it he gets so excited he cannot help but giggle as he hugs it as tight as he can.
Noah can brighten our day with one big smile. I couldn’t imagine our life without Noah.
I am thankful for my younger sister who would do anything for me or my family. She is an amazing woman of God and I know He is going to use her to accomplish amazing things for His kingdom.
I am thankful for my parents and the love and support they show me every day. They are already amazing grandparents to my boys and we are all blessed that they decided to move closer to us. These past 4 months would have been very different if I hadn’t had my mom to help me.
I am thankful for my in-laws. I couldn’t have picked better in-laws, I honestly married into an amazing family. They are always willing to help us out whenever we need them, or babysit at a moments notice. Our boys are so blessed to have them as grandparents.
I am thankful for the many friends who have helped us out and offered advice over these past 4 months (and beyond). I am thankful for the midnight phone calls, an ear to listen and reassurance that I am not crazy and some things can really be blamed on hormones.
You all have ministered to my life in more ways than you will ever know. Each one you are an immense blessing to me. I am so thankful God placed you in my life and I can only hope I am as good of a friend to you as you have been to me and my little family.
I am thankful for challenging times. These are the times I learn to rely on God the most and when He shows me who I really am. These are also the times that remind me to be thankful for everything else in my life.
I am thankful for my accomplishments, they show me just how strong I can be when I am willing to push myself.
I am thankful for my life. I am thankful God gave me the time I have had here on earth to learn and live. He has blessed me with amazing love, He has given me the desires of my heart even though He made me walk through challenges to receive them.
Although life may not always be easy and I may feel frustrated or not understand why I have to walk through a situation, I am truly grateful for the life I am given. God has blessed me immensely and I pray that I never reach a point in life when I am too busy to stop and count my blessings. I truly believe I was chosen for this life and I pray I can make the best of it and allow God to use me however He desires.
I am so thankful for each and every blessing God has given me and I am looking forward to another amazing year, wherever it may take us.
