For the boys’ first birthday we decided to have a little man mustache bash! It was so much fun and I loved every minute of planning the party and creating all the decorations.
We began with the invitation. I told Jeremy my ideas and he creating the exact invitation I was picturing. There were a few details that would not fit on the invitation so we decided to print them on giant green mustaches and put them in the envelopes with the invitations.
My favorite thing about the party was all the little details.
We had a photo booth so we could get pictures of everyone. I loved the sign Jeremy made for the photo booth, it was perfect for the party theme!
Here are a few of the pictures from the photo booth (get ready for photo overload).
Jeremy also made the signs for all the food and dessert. They turned out exactly how I imagined them! I love that I can give him my ideas and he can make them come to life!
We set up a table with pictures from the boys’ newborn, 6 month and cake smash session and included chalk boards with details about each of the boys.
We had a giant happy birthday banner that went across the entrance to our pavilion, which I made using my cricut cutter and brads to connect each triangle.
I made mustache cupcakes (using Wilton chocolate molds) that were absolutely adorable, but since we decided to have the boys’ birthday party at a park on one of the hottest days of the year (it was 113 degrees that afternoon) the cupcakes and chocolate mustaches melted. They sure looked cute while they lasted!
Of course you have to have “One” banners for the highchairs!
The boys seemed to really have fun at their party. We made little baggies of bread for all the kids to use to feed the ducks and even made bubble party favors by removing the old label and replacing it with a new one that said “Thank for coming to Ian and Noah’s Mustache Bash” (sorry I forgot to get a picture).
I think they boys’ favorite part was eating cake! They never get sweets so this was a true treat for them!
I cannot believe our precious boys are already one! Their party was a huge success and we all had so much fun!
After a day full of partying the boys were exhausted! We are so grateful for all the amazing friends and family that came out to celebrate with use and who have helped and supported us throughout this part year. We are so incredibly blessed by each one of you!
